You can put this solution on YOUR website! (a-2)=3*(n-2)
(a+4)=2*(n+4)
Multiply out to remove parentheses.
a-2 = 3 n-6
a+4 = 2 n+8
in the first add 6 to both sides
a+4 = 3n
a = 2 n+4
How to continue?
Either solve the first for a and then set the two a's equal
OR substitute 2n+4 for a in the first
a=20
n=8
