You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The ratio of sports cars to luxury cars sold in Wentworth one month was 3 to 2.
If 20 more sports cars were sold than luxury cars, then how many of each
were sold that month?
:
Let x = the multiplier
then
3x = no. of sports cars
2x = no. of luxury cars
:
"If 20 more sports cars were sold than luxury cars, then how many of each
were sold that month?:
3x = 2x + 20
3x - 2x = 20
x = 20 is the multiplier
then
3*20 = 60 sports cars
and
2*20 = 40 luxury cars

is this true?
