-8%2B6%28x%2B5%29+=+8-4x Do the "distributive property" once more on the left side.
-8%2B6x%2B30+=+8-4x Simplify the left side.
22%2B6x+=+8-4x Add 4x to both sides of the equation.
22%2B10x+=+8 Subtract 22 from both sides.
10x+=+-14 Finally, divide both sides by 10.
x+=+-14%2F10
x+=+-1.4
