You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solve: First, apply the "distributive property" to both sides to simplify. Do the "distributive property" once more on the left side. Simplify the left side. Add 4x to both sides of the equation. Subtract 22 from both sides. Finally, divide both sides by 10.
