the rate is 45 miles per hour
the time is in seconds.
Since our time units are not the same, we must convert the bigger to the smaller.
1 hour x 60 min / 1 hour x 60 sec / 1 min = 3600 seconds / hour
R = 45 mi / 3600 sec
T = 3 sec.
multiplying them, we will get distance. D = 45(3)/3600 ~ .0375 miles.
we need to convert miles into feet by multiplying by 5280.
So, D = 198 feet.
