We are dealing with two isosceles triangles.
both with the equal sides measuring 5 with the bases 8 and 6
formula for area is 1/2 bh
where b is the base and h the height
so if we set it up so the bases are 8 and 6 then they are in the ratio 8 to6 or 4 to 3
