When you have 3=-120x-84 and you want to solve for 'x', the next step would be to add 84 to both sides to get 3%2B84=-120x%2Bcross%28-84%29%2Bcross%2884%29 which then becomes 87=-120x. The property that you are using here is the addition property of equality. So the answer is C)
