You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given,
50 bananas = 20 coconuts
1 coconut = 50/20 bananas
1 coconut = 5/2 bananas ...(1)
Next, 30 coconuts = 12 fish
1 fish = 30/12 coconuts
1 fish = 5/2 coconuts ...(2)
Now, 1 hammock = 100 fish
1 hammock = 100 x (5/2) coconuts
1 hammock = 100 x(5/2)(5/2) bananas
1 hammock = 625 bananas

This question is about proportions. Let B = banana, C = coconut, F = fish and H = hammock.
50B = 20C ; 30C = 12F. The least common multiple of 20 and 30 is 60. So,
150B = 60C ; 60C = 24F. More succinctly, 150B = 24F.
Now, 24F * 4 1/6 = 100F, so
150(4 1/6)B = 625 B.
So, it will take 625 bananas, or (B)
