You can put this solution on YOUR website! let w represent width and L represent length (you usually use lower-case L but it looks very close to a 1 so I chose to use a capital letter to avoid confusion) example of 1's and l'sl1l1l1l1
w=L-3
the perimeter is the sum of all the sides and can be written as w+w+L+L=130
combine your like terms
2w+2L=130 <===official perimeter formula for a rectangle
Substitute L-3 for w
2(L-3)+2L=130
2L-6++2L=130
4L=136
L=34
Since w=L-3, then w=34-3 or w=31
Length=34, Width=31
