You can put this solution on YOUR website!
((n)+(n+2))/2=89
2n+2=89*2
divide both sides by 2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x+x+2)/2=89
(2x+2)/2=89
2x+2=2*89
2x+2=178
2x=178-2
2x=176
x=176/2
x=88 is the first consecutive even number.
88+2=90 is the second consecutive number.
Proof:
(88+90/2=89
178/2=89
89=89
