You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The perimeter is simply the sum of the four sides. In other words, just add up the four sides to get the perimeter. So P=a%2Ba%2B%28a%2B7%29%2B%28a%2B7%29=4a%2B14. So the perimeter is P=4a%2B14


The area is the product of the two sides. This means that the area is the result of multiplying the two sides together. So A=a%28a%2B7%29=a%5E2%2B7a giving us the area of A=a%5E2%2B7a
