Question 250986: Hello,
I am having problem solving the following:
Can you help me please.
Evaluate the logarithmic equation for three values of x that are greater than -1, three values of x that are between 0 and -1 and at x = -1 use the resulting ordered pairs to plot the graph. State the equation of the line asymptotic of the graph. Y=log1/7 (x+2)
Please Help me.
Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Evaluate the logarithmic equation for three values of x that are greater than -1, three values of x that are between 0 and -1 and at x = -1 use the resulting ordered pairs to plot the graph. State the equation of the line asymptotic of the graph. Y=log(1/7)^(x+2)
------------------
y = (x+2)log(1/7)
y = (x+2)(-0.8451)
y = -0.8451x-1.6902
-----------

----------------------
If x = -1, y = -0.8451
If x = -4/5, y = -1.014
If x = -3/5, y = -1.183
If x = -1/5, y = -1.521
If x = 2, y = -3.380
If x = 3, y = -4.226
If x = 4, y = -5.071
