You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I need to find the domain of the function
g(x) = 2/(7-5x)
Can someone help me please and is x condidered a real number?
-----------------------
That denominator cannot zero.
It is zero when 7-5x = 0
or 5x = 7
or x = 7/5
-----
So, the domain of the function is
all Real Numbers except x= 7/5.
------------------------------------
Yes, x is a Real number.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
g(x)=2/7-5x
If g(x) = 2/(7-5x) then g is defined for all real numbers except for values of x that cause the denominator (7-5x) to become zero (remember division by zero is undefined).
So we need to solve 7-5x = 0 for x.
7-5x = 0
5x = 7
x = 7/5
So the domain is all real numbers except 7/5.
