X & X+1 ARE THE 2 CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS.
X+15=2(X+1)
X+15=2X+2
X-2X=2-15
-X=-13
-X=-13
X=13 ANS. FOR THE SMALLER INTEGER.
13+1=14 ANS. FOR THE LARGER INTEGER.
PROOF:
13+15=2*14
28=28
