You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x%5E2%2B3xy=18 Start with the given equation

3xy=18-4x%5E2 Subtract 4x%5E2 from both sides.

y=%2818-4x%5E2%29%2F%283x%29 Divide both sides by 3x to isolate y.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x^2+3xy=18
subtract 4x^2 from both sides
3xy=18-4x^2
divide both sides by3x
y=(-4x^2+18)/(3x)
y = -(2 (2 x^2-9))/(3 x)

3xy=18-4x^2
y=6/x - 4x/3 divide each side by 3x
