I am rewriting the problem as:
loga(x^3) - 2loga(x^(1/3))
---
= loa(x^3) - loga(x^(2/3)
---
= loga[x^3/x^(2/3)]
----
= loga[x^(7/3)]
OR
= (7/3)loga(x)
