You can put this solution on YOUR website! The Multiplication Principle says that if a = b and c is any number,
a * c = b * c.
we want to have just x on one side
what can we multiply by 7x to get 1x?
1/7 so multiply both sides by 1/7 which is the same as dividing both sides by 7
