You can put this solution on YOUR website!

You're on the right track:

3%2F4=x%2F%28x%2B3%29
3%28x%2B3%29=4x
Now distribute the 3:
%283%2Ax%29%2B%283%2A3%29=4x
Now solve for x:
3x%2B9=4x
9=4x-3x
9=x ...same as... x=9

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Is it 3/4=(x)/(x+3) ?
if so yes you can get 4x=3(x+3)
now divide by 4 (both sides)
x=3(x+3)/4
expand 3(x+3)
x=3x/4+9/4
remember 1x=4x/4
Now get all variables (x)on one side and all constants on the other.
