FYI:i dont understand functions and domain tho plz help me if u can.
Hi,
I respectfully disagree with your teacher that you will never need math in your life. I won't go into all the reasons but you can look around and see how important science and technology (Engineering, Information Technology, etc. ) are in our society. An understanding of mathematice is critical to all of these, not to mention also to business (economics, accounting and finance).
Most important of all, studying math teaches you to think logically and carefully and develops your ability to solve any kind of problem. Many things in life are quantitative (measurable) and objective (factual). Not all things are qualitative (relative) and subjective (opinion).
Ok, lecture over :)
Can you please submit a specific example of a problem you are having trouble with and I'll try my best to help you.
You can repost it or send it directly to me at banfields@ix.netcom.com
Hang in there. It will be worth it. :)
