You can put this solution on YOUR website!
7(w-3)=14
(7)(W)-(7)(3)=14
7w-21=14
7W-21+21=14+21
7W=35
7W/7=35/7
W=5
.
Check by plugging W=5 back into the original equation.=
7(w-3)=14
7(5-3)=14
7(2)=14
14=14 [checks out]

Help please Use the distributive property to help solve the equation
7(w-3)=14
W=?
Is w=11 correct? I'm not sure,
-------------------------------
7(w-3) = 14
Distribute:
7w - 21 = 14
7w = 35
w = 5

w is not 11
multiply out 7(w-3)
multiply 7 by each part
7*w and 7*(-3) and add them.
