Question 249810: Find the equation of the line through the point (-8,6) perpendicular to the line 6x+9y=14.
So far I found that the slope for the new equation is 3/2x
I found that answer from knowing that for lines to be perpendicular their slopes must have a product of -1
I just don't remember how to find the rest of the equation
