Question 24936: What type of problems are these? Can you help me solve?
1 . √ x – 1 = 3

2 . √ x^3 = 8
3. ^ 3√ x ^2 =4
Is √ x^2 = x and identity (true for all values of x)?
Help… I don’t know how to do and I have to explain my answer.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Can't tell from your posting what the problems are.
For example #1 might be
sqrt(x)-1 = 3
or it might be
sqrt(x-1)=3
Use this notation and repost, please.
