You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
5y-15=5x
5y=5x+15
5y=5x+15
y=5x/5+15/5
y=x+3 The y intercept=3.
Setting y=0 & solving for x
0=x+3
x=-3
Intercepts are: (-3,3)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -6 to 5, x +3).

What are the intercepts of
?
To find the y-intercept, set x to zero and solve for y.
To find the x-intercept, set y to zero and solve for x.
Y-intercept:
The above answer means that when x=o, y=3. That's our y-intercept.
I'll let you work on the x-intercept. Follow the same logic. :)
