You can put this solution on YOUR website! L=W+4
AREA=LW
(L+5)(W+5)=AREA+155
(L+5)(W+5)=LW+155
NOW REPLACE L WITH (W+4) & SOLVE FOR W.
(W+4+5)(W+5)=(W+4)W+155
(W+9)(W+5)=W^2+4W+155
W^2+9W+5W+45=W^2+4W+155 CANCEL OUT THE W^2 TERMS.
9W+5W-4W=155-45
10W=110
W=110/10
W=11 M. IS THE WIDTH.
L=11+4=15 M. IS THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
(15+5)(11+5)=15*11+155
20*16=165+155
320=320
