Question 248495: i need the derivative of
im not sure if that came out right with symbols, so i'm going to put it into mathematical terms as well...
(2x squared - 10) divided by (x squared + 5) squared.
i came up with a pretty crazy answer, and have no clue if it's right, it seems way too 'out there' to be correct...
am i anywhere close? Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! i need the derivative of
----------------------------
dy/dx[f/g] = [g*f' - fg']/g^2
------------------------------
Your Problem:
dy/dx = [(x^2+5)^2*(4x) - (2x^2-10)(2(x^2+5)(2x)]/[(x^2+5)^4
