You can put this solution on YOUR website! substitute the value of a quantity from one equation for the same quantity in another equation
5x = -11 - 9y ___ -5x = 11 + 9y
substituting ___ 11 + 9y + y = 21 ___ 10y = 10 ___ y = 1
