Question 248115: What is the slope of the X & Y axis? My thought is the X axis is horizontal line so it is 0 and the Y axis is on the vertical line and it's slope is indefinite. Is this correct? Answer by tutorcecilia(2152) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The slope of the y-axis is undefined and the x-axis is zero.
Because the slope of the y-axis: slope=0/0=undefined
For the x-axis: slope=0/x=0
