here are the measurements of the sides that are given in the problem.
AC = 20
EG = 12
FH = 6
BD = x. i must find x. please answer as soon as soon as you can. I know that you all have lives as well, and that you are most likely busy, especially at this time of the year, now that exams are closing in. However, I have an exam myself in two days. However, I have already turned in my textbook, and have no way of getting an answer to this anywhere else. Please help me out. (an explanation of this type of problem would be fine, you dont necessarily have to work it out for me.)

Your problem is not clear to me. I guess the point 'D' lies on seg AC. What about the points "E, F, G, H"? Where do they lie ? Can you make these clear?
