You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2(-x)+3(-x)+x+8=2(-x)
we carefully go through, perform the functions needed and remove the parenthese.
2(-x)=-2x
3(-x)=-3x
2(-x)=-2x
so we put them all together and
we have
-2x-3x+x+8=-2x
now we add them up
-2x-3x=-5x
-5x+x=-4x
so now we have -4x+8=-2x
add 4x to both sides
-4x+4x=0
so on the left we have
0+8-2x
8=-2x
divide both sides by -2
8/-2=x
8/-2 = -(8/2)=-(4)
so now we have
-4=x
we are finished
