I got the areas of both rectangles.
And my particular question asks for the ratio of Rectangle C to Rectangle D.
It provides the answer of 1:4 but, how do I get the answer?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Always take the longer dimension as your length and the smaller one as the width.
For Rectangle C: Length = 5cm, Width = 3cm
For Rectangle D: Length = 20cm, Width = 12cm
