You can pick anything you want for x, and then find y.

I recommend let x=0, then y=-1.

Since the equation is y=1/3x-1, it will simplify the fraction if you let x=3, then y=1/3x-1=1/3*3-1=0.

Or, let x=6, then y =1/3*6-1=2-1=1

This should give you some points to graph, and it should look like this:
