Any number with adenominator of 1, is itself.
ex;
2%2F1=2
5%2F1=5
Now we turn the sentence into a math problem;
What percent is the number we do not know, so t wll be WP(what percent);
The word "of" in a word problem menas *(multiply);
The word "is" means =(equals);
So now lets rewrite the problem;
WP*2=1%2F2
2WP=1%2F2
First we will divide 2 from both sides;
WP=.25=25%
