You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
x + 3y = 2 or x=2-3y
-x + y = 1 replace x by(2-3y) & solve fory.
-(2-3y)+y=1
-2+3y+y=1
4y=1+2
4Y=3
Y=3/4 ANS.
X+3(3/4)=2
X=9/4=2
X=2-9/4
X=2-2.25
X=-.25 ANS.
PROOF:
-(-.25)+3/4=1
.25=.75=1
1=1
