You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Did you mean:
(x^2 + 8x + 12)/x^2 + 9x + 14)?
Factoring the numerator and denominator gives:
((x+6)*(x+2))/((x+7)(x+2))
Cancelling the (x+2) factors we have:
(x+6)/x+7)
Since x = -7 makes the denominater 0, -7 is not in the domain.
