You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How am i suppoesed to graph this eqation?
y=-2x+8
---------------
It's a straight line, so 2 points are sufficient.
Pick numbers for x and find y.
x = 0, y = 8 --> (0,8)
x = -4,y = 0 --> (-4,0)
Plot the points and draw a line thru them.
I don't know another way.
Well, actually I do, but this one works.

Graphing y=-2x%2B8
.
If we build a table for x and y values, your answer will become very apparent and you'll know how to graph it. So let's do that first.
.
When x=-2, y=-2%28-2%29%2B8=4%2B8=12
When x=-1, y=-2%28-1%29%2B8=2%2B8=10
When x=0, y=-2%280%29%2B8=0%2B8=8
When x=1, y=-2%281%29%2B8=-2%2B8=6
When x=2, y=-2%282%29%2B8=-4%2B8=4
When x=3, y=-2%283%29%2B8=-6%2B8=2
When x=4, y=-2%284%29%2B8=-8%2B8=0
When x=5, y=-2%285%29%2B8=-10%2B8=-2
.
Notice that when x=0, y=12 ... and when x=4, y=0.
With these two points, you can draw a straight line in the cartesian plane.
All other results help us confirm we're on track.
So we graph y=-2x%2B8 like shown below:
+graph%28+400%2C+400%2C+-3%2C+8%2C+-3%2C+10%2C+-2x%2B8%29+
