Question 245413: I am learning grafting. Can you help me with this one 3x-4y<12
How do I plot this and I know my slope formula is y=mx+b.
If the slope is minus is the slope down from L to R and if it is positive is it up from L to R
Also I believe y=3/4x-3 if it is do I go 4R on the X axis and 3up on th y axis starting at the y intercept of -3 or am I messed up.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x-4y<12
-4y<-3x+12
y>-3x/-4+12/-4
y<3x/4-3
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-6%2C+5%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+3x%2F4+-3%29+ (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, 3x/4 -3).
The 2 intercepts are: (4,0) & (0,-3)
