Question 24474: I'm having trouble with these problems. The directions say to Determine whether the given ordered pair is a solution of the equation. I've went through my textbook three and four times and I still don't get it. One of the equations are: Y=-2, (-2,-2) and I can't figure out if the coordinates given are solutions of the equations. Please help me!!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The coordinates are a solution to the equation because y in the ordered pairs is -2. In other words the pair (-2,-2) is (x,y). So y=-2. Hope this helps.
