If there are 28 questions on a test, and I miss 8, what is my score?
Score or percentage is number of correct answers divided by total number of questions
Total number of questions is equal to correct answers plus missed answers.
To get the number of correct answers subtract incorrect from total number of questions.
28-8=20 correct answers
20 divided by 28=20/28=10/14=5/7= .7142 =71%
In some schools that is a passing grade in the better schools that would be a failing grade.

Hello, Another way to look at this is you got 20 problems correct. So we can put it as a fraction 20/28. The bar / in the middle of a fraction means "divided by"
Therefore:
20 divided by 28 =
.71 or as a percentage it is 71%. Make sense?
