You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x+(x+60)=180
3x=180-60
3x=120
x=120/3
x=40 degrees are the 2 equal angles.
40+60=100 degrees is the odd angle.
Proof
40+40+100=180
180=180

The measure of the third angle in an isosceles triangle is 60% greater than the measure of each equal angle. Find the measure of the third angle.

Let each equal angle be E

Since the 3rd angle is 60% more than each equal angle, then the measure of the 3rd angle is 1.6E

Since the 3 angles equal 180%5Eo, then we get:

E + E + 1.6E = 180

3.6E = 180

E = 180%2F3.6+=+50%5Eo

Since the 2 equal angles measure 50%5Eo each, then the 3rd angle is highlight_green%2880%5Eo%29 --- (1.6 * 50), or 180 - (50 + 50).
