Question 243242: multiply (x^8-x^5)(x^8+x^5)
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! This is a FOIL problem where the middle terms subtract out. Also remember that when you multiply with the same base number, you ADD exponents:
(x^8 - x^5)(x^8 + x^5)
x^16 + x^13 - x^13 - x^10
x^16 - x^10
