You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Nickels = x
Quarters = 3x

Quarter value = 25
Nickel value = 5
Total = 160

25(3x)+5x=160
75x+5x=160
80x=160
x=2

3(2)=6

Hence there are 6 quarters and 2 nickels.
