You can put this solution on YOUR website! A box contains fewer than 50 marbles. Each marble is either red or white. The probability of randomly choosing a red marble is 2/5. What is the largest number of white marbles that could be in the box?
If P(red) = 2/5, P(white) is 3/5.
# of white < (3/5)50 = 30
The answer has to be a whole number so it is 27
