the equation for a line is: y = mx + b, if you know that m = 5/6, x = 4 and y = -1..Then substitute the numbers into the equation...
so -1 = 5/6(4) + b and solve for b
-1 = 20/6 + b
-6/6 = 20/6 + b
-26/6 = b
-13/3 = b
Therefore your equation is y = 5/6(x) - 13/3
