First factor out the common factor of x:

x%28x%5E2%2B5x-6%29=0
x%28x%2B6%29%28x-1%29+=+0

Set each factor equal to zero. There will be three solutions:

x= 0

x+6= 0
x=-6

x-1 = 0
x=1
