Question 2391: Find the equation of the line that passes through the point (1,3) and is perpendicular to the line 2x+3y+5=0
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2 lines that are perpendicular with gradients m and n, then mn=-1.
So, find the gradient of the line quoted, then find the gradient of its perpendicular...then plug in that and the (x,y) coordinates into y=mx+c to find its equation.
