You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Steps:
a. move 1 to the right side of eqn and substract
b. multiply entire eqn (both sides) by x to get rid of fractions
c. add the numbers on the left side of eqn
d. divide both sides of eqn by the coefficient of x
e. this will give you the answer
.
Problem:
4%2Fx%2B2%2Fx%2B1=5
4%2Fx%2B2%2Fx=4
4%2B2=4x
6%2F4=x ...now simplify...
3%2F2=x
