Question 238735: I'm not sure if this is the right category? But Can you please help me figure this one out? Thank you so much in advance for your time...
The problem states:
Find four large cities around the world and an approximate percentage rate of population growth for the countries in which the cities are located. Estimate the population in each of the four cities in 25 yr.
Say the pop. is 199,999 and the approx. % rate is 7%.Will this formula work:
FV= PV * (1 + r) ^t
Answer by JimboP1977(311) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Yes it sure will assuming the percentage increase is over a year then
199,999 * (1 + 0.07)^25 = 1,085,481
Do you understand how it works, the principles behind it?
Any questions?
