You can put this solution on YOUR website! First, we need the amount of money we have available for the granola, which we get by subtracting $0.69 from the $3, giving $2.31 left.  Now, we write an inequality for the (pounds of granola)=p we can afford.  Granola is $1.96/pound, so we can say 1.96p=2.31, where "=" is what I am using to say "less than or equal to." We can now solve this inequality by dividing 2.31 by 1.96 to get the maximum amout of pounds we can afford.
