You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how do i find the average of 5/6 4/3 3/4
------------------
Add the three fractions and divide by 3.
-----------------
(5/6) + (4/3) + (3/4)
---
gcd = 12
Rewrite each fraction with the gcd as its denominator:
---
(2*5)/gcd + (4*4)/gcd + (3*3)/gcd
---
Combine the numerators over the gcd:
[10 + 16 + 9]/gcd
---
35/12
============
To get the average, divide by 3
[35/12]/3 = 35/36
