Question 237507: At 7:00 A.M. Joe starts jogging at 6mi/h. At 7:10 A.M. Ken starts off after him. How fast much ken run in order to overtake him at 7:30 A.M. ? Answer by College Student(505) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Joe runs at a pace of 6 miles/hour ...same as 3 miles/30 minutes.
Ken must run the same distance, but in less time.
Which means he must run 3 miles/20 minutes ... same as 9 miles/hour to catch up with Joe at 7:30 AM.
