You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello,
From what I understand, you want the value of x and y. The best way is to multiply the second equation by 2 which gives us:
4x-3y= -20
-4x-32y=20
Now we can add both equations to be:
-35y = 0 therefore y equals:
y = 0 Now plug this into the original equation to get:
4x - 0 = -20 Divide by sides by 4 gives us:
x=-5
There you go: x=-5 and y=0
Plug these into either equation and it should check out correctly.
